Re alloys..... I was looking at a set of C63s wheels but I'm not sure they do enough for the cost/hassle..... Plus I'm worried I ruine the sorted ride quality I currently have.

I think a subtile lowering will work better.... ???

Your existing wheels are pretty similar and with your new badge it may already be enough to fool people who don’t know the difference between an AMG and an AMG line.

A few of my petrol head friends love it, other less so. I'm person in both camps.... Thinks I may order the black ones when I complete the dechroming.

So the Merc was remapped today. Not as big an improvement as I was hoping but on reflection it improves already awesome car.

Results: 243bhp and 380lbft (520nm)
0-60 fell from 6.4 to 5.8

He did have it at 256bhp but dropped it to a safer level. Apparently Mercs are less detuned from factory than VW and BMW.

The only thing I’ve never liked on the current C Class is the chrome strip above the rear numberplate.

IMO it’d look great in Brillant Blue to match the bodywork.
