Independent mechanics in Birmingham

Just joined forum and looking for knowledgeable mechanic to look after my E200K.

Hi Acid

Car has creaking rear shocks, checked by mechanic and said fine but dry. Greased but still creaking.
Also, suspect catalyst gone or some part of exhaust - throaty rumbling when revving.

Need an honest and knowledgsble mechanic to put car back on the road.

Thanks will do. Their website looks intimidating! Mine is a 51 plate that I have had for almost eleven years. Not sure they would be interested in a 'run of the mill' old car.

Will visit as not far from where I am and let you all know if I get laughed out of there.

MSL are well known for their high-end tuning, but have had a reputation locally for servicing and repairs for much longer.

MSL is the only place in Birmingham who I would trust with my car. If you want to travel further afield then Mercland in Nuneaton are also excellent.

Thanks for recommended MSL...Acid lived up to his reputation!
He was amazing and helpful. Took time out to explain and even recommended bodyshop next door. The dynamic duo also very reasonable and looking forward to having car looking like she should.
Due in next Thursday - will update how car is running and quality of bodywork.
Might be brave and post some pictures of the car!

Got the car back - full service and panel damage repaired. Looks like a superb job by Acid at MSL, and Shabir (next door to MSL) did amazing job with body repair.

Thanks to all the forum users for recommending MSL - faultless customer service even though they are clearly very busy.

Cannot recommend highly enough Shabir for body repairs.
