Independent Mercedes mechanics in Brittany

Merry Christmas to all members!!

I am urgently in need of an indie mechanic in Brittany, preferably in areas 22 or 29. My e270 W211 has a red warning and having had the sbc pump changed by Jacksons in Salisbury I know find myself stranded and I need to get the car back to the UK mid January for business. I am currently in France and do not want to drive the car in this condition.

Does any member know of one or a database or resource I can use to try and find a star machine, as it costs around €250 to get a Hooked onto a French machine.

If anybody can help I would be most grateful.

Or anywhere in France? In your shoes, I'd take the St Malo ferry over to Portsmouth and use Oliver Stoner in Portsmouth, the chap in Southampton who appears on these boards or Haynes in Worthing.

My quest for an MB specialist in France has fallen on stoney ground, aside from someone in Paris who sounds good but never opens on Saturday so no ggod if you have to work all week.
