I nipped out of work at lunchtime today, indicator sound missed a beat, while waiting to make a left turn, twice.

On my return, made several turns, problem did not re-occur.

Could this have been a "1 off ", or is something on the way out, needs to be looked at ?

(Note, auto electrics are not my strong point).

When a lamp has gone it flashes faster, so not that, see how it goes

TV, Definatly not a bulb or faster flashing.

This was a case of missed flashes. 2 missed clicks, starts clicking again, then misses 2 clicks, clicks again.........

On older cars I worked on, this was generally the flasher unit (tin box type capsule) that needed replaced. On modern MB, I have no idea if the same type unit is still used ?

Flasher = front right sAM.

BlackC55 and TV, Thanks for this. Is it item 10 in the drawing ?

Also, where is the RH Sam located, and is the "item" replaceable without Star dagnostics or other pittfall ?

I do not think that it needs coding, you have 2 boxes under the bonnet, the other box contains the engine modules, lift the lid to see if it is dry inside

yes item 10

Is it O/S or N/S ? I hope I don't need to buy a new one. Good idea to clean all contacts within, with electrical alchohol cleaner ?

Part A2035451601
Type: STEUERGERAET

Price: £203.03
£182.73

I tried to evade the question the other one that it is not, looks like this one . I would leave it for a bit, check that no water is in the box and see how it goes

TV, looks like a weekend job for investigation purposes alone, preferably a dry day with daylight.

It's almost pitch black outside here now and it's only 15:45 Hrs.

Normally would still have sun up, but heavy black cloud coming in from NW Atlantic.
