I have ploughed through this Forum and have found reference to JP Marques in Aston Clinton and Chris Gray in Aylesbury.

The comments for Chris Gray go from glowing to an absolute admin shambles!

Has anyone any recent dealings with these two and could comment on level of service and of course cost?

I have a W209 CLK Cabriolet.

Hi, welcome to the forum!!

This is my experience of Chris Grey! He is a very busy man (lots of people are using him) so you need to give him plenty of time to book you in, maybe two weeks+.

However, he is very knowledgeable, and in my experience has not let me down. Currently has my car for rectification of a gearbox fault, and air con problems.

He has recently moved to more permanent premises, so all I can suggest is you visit and make your own opinion!

It was probably my views of glowing to a state of shambles that you read.

It was all a real shame, avoidable and purely organisational not anything to do with his quality of work.

I too would suggest taking a visit, see what you think and give him a chance. I would hope, I experienced him sadly at his lowest.

Equally, pop in and See JP Marques and see what you think. Two very different outfits, but had good service at each. JP looks the part, Chris a little more back street but REALLY knows his Mercedes.

As you are in Leighton Buzzard, have you considered going to one of the two specialists in Milton Keynes?

I haven't used any of them (MK or Aylesbury area) but I will be needing some work done soon to my W124, so this thread is of great interest.

I work in Aylesbury so it would be much more convenient to get work done there.

Both will most likely be able to offer you a collect drop off from your place of work. Chris used to do this for me and JP Marques have a driver for these errands.

Has anyone used the Bulstrode Garage, on the A40 just east of Gerrards Cross? I ask because they sell used Mercedes, and presumably service them too.

I have had my VWs MOT'd there in the past and they seemed professional enough.

hi everyone im new here and to the mercedes brand i have a c230 0n a p plate and having a few probs.
i have used a decent mechanic but am stil looking for someone who realy knows there mercs.
i hav aproblem with the wipers @ the moment where when i turn it off it does'nt park at the bottom of the screen but in the drivers view,any ideas would be great!
