Does anyone know a good upgrade seal for the e320cdi, had all my seals and bolts done 3 months ago and now No.2 is leaking again, I did use genuine merc parts but have heard that there is better washers that can be used

Polishing the injector seats to a high finish will greatly help in sealing.

Avoid re-cutting unless the seats are pitted or burnt away.

If you re-cut then apply a high polish to the seat.

Standard Mercedes washers are good enough.

Thicker ones avaliable on flea-bay

Yep, something not done properly, bad sealing surfaces, dirty thread (wrong torque), injector body not greased and made leaking possible again etc. etc. Often (too) thick washer is making things just worse, injection is disturbed by too high installation. Just remake the change of the seal.

If a re-cut and polish has had to be done more than once thicker washers can re-introduce the nozzle to the correct installation position.

I'll have to get it back to the garage, just hope I don't get charged for it again, dont think it takes too long to do if you have the right tools
