Hi guys, first post but had to re reg with new user name. Still the same ol' CD

Anyway, not had much success on the other side, so thought some here might know.

This may sound complicated and confusing but I'd like to know the circuit or wire that supplies the interior light on my c class w203 saloon.

I want to take off a supply that is ONLY live the same time the interior light is on.

Any ideas?

Hi guys, I've done this myself and it's really very easy... I wired in door lights as opposed to footwell lights but in principal it's the same wiring pins in the door control unit that you need to take the feed from, you just need to position the light fitting somewhere in the footwell for best effect if that's what you are wanting to do. One thing I will make clear for you though is that the door light connected to the pins in the door control unit will not fade in and out like the interior light, but it will be on when the door is open. If it's an easy job you are looking for then follow my guide. wiring in to the interior light is not going to be easy and will require a lot of trim panels being removed....

Follow My guide for wiring instructions and door card removal:
