Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2

I like both browsers, although Google's "Browser Sync" plug-in for Firefox is so awesome that I must use Firefox on all machines.

And you trust google to store all your favorites (viral marketing threat) and all your passwords etc? I think not . . . .

I agree seems OK, but why has the fonts displayed seem a little fuzzy or out of focus??

Fuzzy and out of focus? Don't tell me you installed the '5 pints of Stella' plugin? ;)

I never, repeat *never* let any browser remember a password for me. It will be a cold day in hell before I do that.

I've customised the browser sync so that the only thing it stores is the bookmarks themselves in encrypted form. None of them are private, no issue with them leaking out.

Google have never done wrong by me since the first day I started using their services. The show me ads in rather subtle ways, and I figure that's more than fair for the services that I use. I just don't have the fear of Google that some people do.

You could also try Firefox 2 which was also released this week.

Like others i tried out Beta 2 of IE7 on my PC at home. It pretty much goosed it when i removed it - even using System Restore didn't get the old girl going again. Had to reinstall the beta on the PC. Mind you i use Firefox now as my preferred broswer. There are a few sites that didn't work with Firefox 1.5.x and i would drop back to IE for those, but in general i am a Firefox man now.

Yup I installed 7 last night as it's a 'critical upgrade' now. So far so good.

use it for a week now, no problems so far... so al those people shouting like head less chickens as usual...

I'm having issues with IE 7 (the official release) on my machine with the forum - namely the drop downs and text formating pop ups not working......any ideas guys? It's not the pop up blocker.

EDIT: a Sun JRE update seemed to resolve the problem.
