A FAMILY on the Isle of Wight have become unexpected internet stars after a video of them lip-syncing to hit songs became a Facebook favourite.
From the Frozen smash hit Let it Go and the Spongebob Squarepants’ theme, to Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Gangnam Style, the video has had more 35,000 views on various Facebook pages.
It was created by Kerri — who was behind the camera — and Dan Rowling, both 34, and their children Dolcie, eight, and Albie, five, with help from Dan’s sister Shannice Harris, 21.
Despite costume changes aplenty and some impressive performances, the project was a quickly conceived rainy day activity thought up by Dan.
"We didn’t think it was going to end up quite this big," said Dan.
The video has been shared on the Lanesend Primary School website, where Dolcie and Albie are pupils, as well as the Music Crowns Facebook page, where it has notched up close to 23,500 views alone.
And their new found fans might not have to wait long for a follow up, with the family already planning a sequel.
