iphone 4 cradle help!!!!

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone could help!!!!!
i have just replaced my iphone 3 cradle for a iphone 4 one....
and its not working... or i should say i cant connect my phone to the cradle... the old iphone 3 cradle had a button to start connection the clear one on top of cradle.... but i cant find any button on the iphone 4 cradle to start connection.... i have a 2009 c63 amg

any help would be good

Button on top left corner - I think in the same place. Unless you bought one of the new type that just charge and use the aerial, for cars which have BT in the head unit (and BT that supports address book download, i.e not your 09 C63 sadly)

Hi Richard... i think it must be the new one... but the head unit always says no phone inserted when it is in the cradle!!!
this is the problem im having. the phone connects no problem to the command but it just seems the cradle wont show when phone is inserted

Whats the part number ?

Yes, with the cradles that just charge / use-antenna, the head unit says no phone inserted in the comfort phone. You have to pair the phone with the bluetooth in the head unit (but that won't take the phone numbers across on a NTG4 head unit like you have)

i thought it would show on the screen that the phone is using the car antenna like my old iphone 3 cradle...

seems a lot of money for a charger ha ha

BTW your iphone 4 will pair to 3G/S cradle but you wont be able to place it in the cradle so it wont charge or use the cars antenna.

Yes that's the version with no smart electronics inside. You need the version which pair with the phone and will then get your addresss book across to the comand. Talk to Alfie on [email protected]
