looking at the pic - I see it slots in to the cradle so the bottom slips onto the socket..so what is that wire for? if that slips in the bottom of the cradle how does the cradle work? Or is it an either or cradle - either in the cradle as a phone or use the cable to access the ipod tunes?

I suspect that the wire connects the Ipod holder to the MB Ipod kit. Now I think about it this product might well work as well and is only 50 euros new Carcomm - Products

I managed to bag the latest bluetooth cradle for £65 B.I.N couldn't believe I stumbled upon it and its virtually new but anything less than the £250 dealers ask is a bargain
