iphone / i pad - conection

Evening all - got 350CDI 61 plate - trying to connect the iphone to listen to music / watch vids for kids when static etc - do i need any special cables or do i need to anything special? phone is already linked as is blackberry but off with the boys this weekend and want the itunes music to play - any ideas or am i being a bit stupid? think i need to connect on a cable but not sure what i need and where I can get - appreciate any answers - thanks Mike

Hi You should have got a pack of cables with the car and there is a connector in the glove box. This will link the iPod to the command unit and you will be able to drive the menus from there. I haven't tried to play video but use the music library a lot. Hope this helps

Have you looked in he glove box? There is the larger storage area and a shelf at the the top there should b a cable there. Mine already had the iPod cable connected and had spares for other devices. My Ml is a 350 sport on an 11 plate so I can't imagine it's any different. If its not there I would peak to you dealer.

These are the cables that you would need to connect it to the media interface:

You wont have got the cables unless you the optional media interface. What headunit do you have?
