Iphone not configured for use with this device

Can you help.

I get the above message (it disappears before I can read it all) on my i-phone 3gs connected to Viseeo MB2 & comand.

Everything appears to work apart from the steering wheel buttons which do not work to pick up the phone for a new call but do work if a call is in progress.

I have the latest iphone firmware 4.1.2.

Any clues?

My iPhone4 does the same on dension 500, all works but cannot fast forward tracks and have not tried the steering controls. As far as it plays music and charges should be ok.
