What are the options to connect Iphone4 to my Merc?

Is the cradle different for Iphone4 and Iphone 4s, should I upgrade?

Command online sell the correct cradle but I put in a viseeo mb2 and it works great. I have the wife's Nokia paired to it as well so your not confined to just an iPhone.

HTD thanks. If I want to use the existing cradle, does it mean I will have to use particular model or anyone that fits into the slot, would work

Also by pairing do you mean bluetooth?

Also my Iphone has been detected by the command, but it the iphone does not connect. What does that mean in terms of compatibility?

Yes the existing cradle is phone specific

Yes I mean Bluetooth, on the mb2 you can pair upto 4 phones and the address book is transferred onto command and speedo fails with full steering wheel button control.

The command will pick up a phone via Bluetooth but nothing will work

I am still confused which cradle type do I have. It looks like it is fixed because I could see no way to unplug the cradle from the car.

Also can I use any 6xxx phones ( I have found a £10 phone, so I may end us that phone for the car)

If you have a lead coming from the cradle it is a fixed cradle and cant be changed. The only option you have is the Viseeo MBU1000 to convert it to bluetooth assuming the cradle is for a Nokia 6150, 6210, or 6310(i).

There is a lead upto the cradle, I cannot 'seem to- I may be missing something' remove it from merc; does it mean it is fixed?
