IPOD issues

Hi

I have an IPOD 30GB Photo and recently I have found that I can't turn it off.

I have tried the soft reset and still no luck, any ideas?

By that I presume you mean the reset like this:
Hold on then off, then pressing Menu and Center (Menu and Play on the third generation iPod) for 6 seconds.
This always works on mine.

I had the exact same issue, a soft reset (as trooper mentioned) worked. The other option I guess is letting the battery die then re-charging it. Finally your third option is connection it to iTunes and doing a restore...
