Iridium Silver paint code

Hi,

Our w211 E280 02/2009 got "nudged" by some inconsiderate "person" and the passenger door has a crease on it and it seemed the easy way to solve it was a replacement door. The original sales invoice says it is Iridium Silver but I can't find the paint code on the car, I've looked at the doors, under the bonnet but nothing is visible. Various seller state paint code 744 @(brilliant silver) and what I can see online is Iridium is 755 and I don't want the wrong shade. I've tried looking for a paint card but not located anything as yet. Any guidance on the many shades of silver a Mercedes could have would be appreciated.

775U 'Irridium silver metallic' is what my build sheet says on my 2006 C55 AMG S203.

As you might know any metallic silver is very hard to match . I have 3 silver cars from 3 different manufacturers....

As above. It should be in the engine bay above the radiator.

Or, run the VIN in an online VIN decoder, it will show the paint code.
