Is Motorola MA1 Wireless Android Car Adapter Full Screen on Mercedes

About to buy AA Wireless dongle but have read although it’s very good it not full screen on Mercedes. Recently spotted the Motorola MA1 which also seems highly regarded although the AA Wireless seems to have the edge. I have a 2020 c63s, does anyone have a similar car, if so does the MA1 give you full screen on Android Auto ? If it does it could swing for it me.

Short answer no, it's the MBUX UI that limits this. BTW I am just about to buy the Motorola one as have had AA wireless unit since launch, worked fine but now it is flaky on my GLE W167

Is carplay not full screen but AA isn't? If so AAWireless now has a carplay mode to connect AA to make it full screen, although I don't beleive its available on the early 1st gen devices.

Search for aa wireless on the xda forum, there is a long thread where they dev comments.

Successfully got full screen wireless Android Auto using the Android Auto over Car Play beta with the AA Wireless dongle. Recently purchased the AA Wireless from Amazon so have the v2 product, as previously said don’t believe this is possible with the v1 product.

The ottocast u2-x pro and ottocast u2-x, both enable Android Auto full screen on a W205 C Class 2019+ routing it through Carplay display (which is full screen on the C Class)

I'm about to buy one.

I bought another Android auto USB dongle and that obviously just went via Android Auto and I still got the cropped screen with large blank area, so returning that.
