Excuse the Noob question.

I have a COMAND unit in my 2004/5 CLK. It uses a DVD ROM (not CD-Rom) for the Sat Nav, It has a button that says "Video" but when I tried putting a normal DVD in there (e.g. Batman returns), and pressing "Video" button...
it just says "No Video"

Does this mean I don't have a DVD player?

Cheers

You don't have a DVD player.

Your car has the NTG2 system - which does not have the hardware inside it to decode MPEG-2 (i.e DVD movies) - it can only do DVD data which is for mapping.

COMAND NTG2 can support an external TV tuner - then TV appears under the Video function. Not all units have the required TV input connector on the back though.

Makes sense, Thanks very much for your help!
