Is only way to set up internet app etc on used mb to visit dealer

With used glc can’t access app on phone or connect to internet in car as password required , is only way to remove previous owners password and insert my own a visit to main dealer.

I assume you're trying to link the car to your own Mercedes Me account? If the car is still tied to the previous owners account then yes you will need to go to the dealer with proof of ID (x2) and the vehicle V5c.
