I went this morning to make an MOT in the local garage and from few days I was having problem with the starting (I thing from the battery) so I started this morning with jumbo leads without any problems it was like starting with my own battery . I went to the garage Hello they did some tasting and told me that the battery is
dead and that there is another small problem and to came back tomorrow to fix it. So the strange happened they c
me t give me jumbo start because they are not going to have the battery till tomorrow but the car didn’t wanted to start at all after that they told me there is problem with the starter !!!!

The question is : How do you thing is this possible to be from the starter or they just want to take more money from me? Because I started so far the car like 5 times with jumbo leads and not even ones the starter react strange .

Im finding it hard to understand what you have written. Calm down, take a deep breath and start again!

Does the car not start at all now, even with the leads? How old is that battery, if its old it may have had it?

What i would do is get another battery, they are not expensive, go to a local motor factor or even dealers as i hear they are good on price as well.

Fit the new battery and take it from there.

I order a new battery in the service and they are going to fit it tomorrow, but they gave me power with the leads and still nothing and they said that there is problem with the starter which is the strange for me ?

What car is it?

Oh sorry i did not say that so far. It is
Mercedes C 220 CDI - W203
yeear end of 2000

I just call the service again and they ask me for 250 pounds for new starter and i just do not know what to do.
I told them to change first the battery and then to try to start it becouse i haven't got a problem so far with the starter.

the problem is solved they change the battery and the car started without problems, so they were just saying that the starter is not working to take my money !!!
