Is the wiring there for Courtesy lights?

Hi all,
I have been offered 4 courtesy lights for the doors of W124 ,my car is W124 E220,the price is almost zero ( almost free 4 lights),but the question is,is the wiring inside the doors available so it will be just plug and play,or do I have to remove the door cards and search power wires (brown colour I recall) here and there?
I remember someone installed courtesy lights on the back doors without removing the cards.
Have any one gone through such experience?
Is it a high level DIY?

You'll have to fit new wiring.
