Is this a record MPG for a C220

Ive had a W203 C220 cdi and now a CLK230 k-IMO a good petrol is allways better than a good diesel .

My dads freind who has owned every car made I think had just bought himself a W210 E320 CDI and reckoned it was the best all round car he had ever owned.

I agree it is the BEST ONE I have owned, and I have had a "few", and mine is even faster than the W210 version. :bannana: :bannana:

Anyone want to tell Brian his 320CDi is slow.

OK, I have a new target... the best I got so far was 63mpg on a run round the M25 to Bristol and back - I was so surprised I took a photo of the IC display. (ducks). Must see if I can find it.

I imagine the 220CDI will really move a C Class...

LOL,,, some of it was the usual stop start but unusually it was a relatively clear run, only bad around the M3 and Clackett Lane (I go via Bracknell to avoid the Heathrow bit). Mainly 70mph on cruise.

Not sure If I could better that at 30mph... must give it a try...
