Some will see that in the "wanted" section i have been seraching for a countax ride on mower.

E-bay saved search this morning reveals this for sale on just a 1 day sale; and the seller has another mower for sale too - although history suggets the respected seller deals in phone spares

I-'ve sent the seller a question, but no reply as yet.

Gut feeling guys? You are all pretty good at sniffing out a fake.

Looks a bit sus at 99p start and only one day, having said that you might get it for 99p.

Also it's odd having no photograph.

Email the seller and see what they say.

That's the model I've got...bought mine new 3 years ago...about £2.5K iirc....can reccomend it....check the s/h prices at dealers, they're very high.

Thats why I thought it must be too good to be true.........

but no mention of western Union; no hotamil address etc etc

The details do mention that its for sale as he's moving house and yet he has an even bigger mower for sale at the same time and so that doesn't ring true...............

It does look odd - the image of someone who trades mobile phones and spares on eBay doesn't fit with the image of the kind of person who would have the lifestye that needed a pretty expensive ride-on mower (never mind 2 ride-on mowers!). The add doesn't have the normal scam indicators but the one-day listing is sus - you'd surely want to maximise the channces of someone seeing a fairly rare item like that.


ETA: I just noticed that his location is different for the mowers than his other items - perhaps he really has moved house and is desperate to move them quickly?

Ha!.....looks like you were right...I must say I looked around for a s/h one, but gave up when an acre of grass got to about a foot high..!! Spent the last three years reducing the lawned areas.....should have just enough for a handmower in another three....so if you can wait!!!!
