Car
2017 Dodge Viper ACR Extreme, 1953, 58, 59, Chevy Trucks
First time out in my C63 since mapping cats and quaife work, 5am, pitch black,
gave it a thrashing for a couple of miles, drifted into a golf
club entrance for a network meeting, as I parked up and gave it a revving for all and sundry to acknowledge, suddenly an invisible unmarked police car had blocked me in from behind and the flashing blue lights came on
Bloody hell, they must have come from outer space, they asked me a strange question, "why were you driving so fast sir?"
I said, it a C63, first time out, couldnt help it, sorry sir, they replied with "dont do it again"

I think they were more interested to make sure i never stole the car and they
never had ANPR stuff

so within an hour first time out i get a pull, Im so gonna get banned in this thing

Or unfortunately kill somebody!

I was driving behind a C63 on the A34 last night. - I get it now; that exhaust sound is epic, and all he was doing was driving to Tesco.

In contrast, I was behind a C43 and the exhaust note was very disappointing.

I've no doubt it's a great-performing car but for me, the sound of the engine is a big part of the experience.

It is all going this way I know but it's sad in some ways - make the most of it!

I don't have an exhaust note (of any note) anymore... :(

I sold my silent SL63 5.5, tooooooo quiet

They didn't get the chance to measure your speed but thought they'd try and put the frighteners on you anyway. Be thankful you didn't cross any white lines or similar as they only need to see you do that to go for a conviction.

I admit to a disappointing engine note on my 2 litre turbo diesel.

Then again, after hearing (and feeling - the ground literally shook) a Vulcan at full power I don't think anything is going to compete...

.

Although a certain AMG in Glasgow sounded pretty good from the back seat - the curry afterwards tasted pretty good too!

My V12 sounds lovely.

Now the bl**dy whine from the fuel system isn't drowning it any more!

Before I bought mine, I viewed one with the rear silencers removed and straight-through pipes. Thunderous roar, but totally unsuited to the car imo.

You want to try standing next to an F15 engine inside the test building when it goes onto full afterburner, literally couldn't breathe.
