Problem with the above suggestions is none of them have less power than the W123 200 .

Only an older Diesel could be slower than a 200 , and the only one that exudes style is the W110 Fintail .

Any Pagoda would give even the 280E at the top of the W123 range a run for its money .

I reckon he's forgetting the 123 200 and is probably thinking compared to stuff like the 500SL, 560SECs, E500 etc.

Otherwise as you say it's a tall order!

Sorry, I didnt count my 200!!

W124 Cab - been done...

Ok so some of you obviously are at an advantage being on the Mercedes Club Forum as id been asking for advice...

Few little things to deal with... mainly a slightly cracked dash cap and interior wood trim...
Also a dink in the front bumper...

Thoroughly sick with envy!

Lovely. And perfect for a nice sunny day like today. Enjoy.

lovely :)

great colour too.

Is it a Californian import?

Yes came over from the states just last year and then recommisioned over here.

The car needed to have various things done such as flushing the fuel system, new brakes, tune up etc etc. I got it after it was running sweet, the exhaust tone is amazing and it pulls like a train.. didnt think they had this much fun in 1969!

Its a late car, 1969, no PAS and a manual box - nice and simples!

however the main reason I went for this (after its price) was the fact that i couldnt find any real rust...

gonna keep me busy for a few weeks... there is a MASSIVE following of these.. just type in W113 in ebay.de and over 1500 items come up... So many parts suppliers and im finding out that MB arent that badly priced for some items.

That motor would look real phat on some 20's and slammed to the ground...!!! LOL

That is a fine looking automobile there Jay, congrats on the purchase...!!!

was the fact that i couldnt find any real rust...

that's why Californian imports are great .. provided they have been properly looked after they get to the UK.

Only thing I would do is to remove the orange blinkers on the front wing and fill in the wing ..

Yes thats the good thing, registered here in January this year...

Orange wing indicators will be going, but thats a fair way down the list for now.. I want the interior spot on first!
