Jerking engine

Hi
Just got mercedes e320 cdi w211 2004 week ago and jerking.
Faults: P2510 torque converter and P2355 EGR valve.
Codes are deleted but still jerking,any ideas.

PLEASE HELP

Deleting the codes doesn't fix the faults.

I would imagine the jerking is being caused by the tc code. But it will need investigating. Best to switch off the lock up clutch with star and see if the problem goes

Could be the radiator core failure, mixing coolant and transmisson fluid.

Glycol test on the gearbox oil to be 100% or let a Indy drive it should be able to tell from how it drives.

My c220 does the same, it's like a virus with these cars , wish I hadn't bought it sometimes. Sounds like lock up clutch . did the switch off on the star machine on my car and it proved it. My local indi told me oil was way over filled but I think it was actually more a case of being topped up by the engine coolant 'cos when I checked the coolant it needed toppin up! I thought it was a bit odd that the 'box oil had just been changed when I bought it. Think I' m gonna buy an oil cooler for £30 and block off the exchanger on the rad and make up some new pipe work. Seems a bit alien to me combining 2 different liquids with different thermaling rates in the same unit. Must be down to saving money I guess.

Hello everyone! Had my gearbox oil and filter chenged,no more jerking. Oil level was to low.
