From Coventry. So where am I now? (No cheating or looking at geo tags!!

NW Scotland?

Loch Ness - looking for monsters maybe?

Plockton?

Plockton and Kyle of Lochalsh are very warm. I'm not actually where the photo was taken, but 15 miles BACK down a single track road because Mrs Ted thought that googling 'cottage xxxxx' meant that the cottage would be exactly in that village and not in the general vicinity. So thirty miles on top of that mileage is where I actually am. Oh bugger it. Photo taken in Shieldaig. Now chilling in LochCarron. I think 525 miles in one run is the mostI have ever done.

Bugger, I was going to say LochCarron, but I thought someone had already said it.

After a walk of around four hours to a lochan, Loch Gaineamhach, (where we didn't see another soul) it was over the Bealach today - first time I have come down, and it is even better than the journey up the pass. Decided to walk up to the top of the Sgur a Chaorachain to take in the full view - past some snow :) (around 2,500 feet up) View attachment 43043 View attachment 43044 I love this place.

For road cyclists the Bealach is one of the great climbs in the British Isles. I plan on taking the camper van up there in late summer to turn a gear over it. It looks beautiful in photos...
