Just Collected My C63....

Collected my C63 Estate today and over the moon with it. Had a nice 80 mile drive home to get acquainted. What a machine it is!!!

Unfortunately the damned parking sensors started playing up as I parked it in driveway so it will need to go back for a check-up but I think I will have a few days fun first

Could the sensors just need a clean? - they are generally reliable.

No tried to give them a wipe and have switched car on and off etc to try and allow them to reset. I had an issue on my C250 where one in the front grill had moved after washing the car but doesn't seem to be so simple and to be fair that was the only issue I had with them.

Not to worry though, I'm sure the dealer will sort it out, if not warranty will. I don't intend having it parked much for a few days anyway

Hi nice car. I've had mine a week now and still pinch myself, and cant get over the noise these things make

Welcome to the drug that is the C63 .

Regarding front parking sensors, check that the front number plate is properly secure and not overhanging. This happened on mine and I found that a sensor was picking up a slight overhang by the number plate on its mounting. The system on this car is more sensitive than most normal systems as it has a park assist option, whereby it scans potential places that you can parallel park in, therefore it scans a wider area.

The parking sensors were working fine today so could be a loose connection somewhere. Will keep an eye on it.

Had to start it twice this morning in the driveway. Once just wasn't enough!!
