Probably no MOT and a driver with no licence to boot !
Was it uphill coming out of there , didn't they roll back into you ?
Or , did the old duffer put his car into reverse by mistake ?
Actually , OAP's , if all you have is a mark that will polish out , kindest just to leave alone and hope that puts them off the road now .
Janner - the bus was not hit -
The bus pulled out infront of the car without indication, i think the guy in front has clipped the bus.
I guess they get disciplined pretty heavily if involved in an accident, so will try and get away if they possibly can (claiming afterwards "I never realised there had been a collision" etc.)I thought if a bus was involved in an accident that it couldn't be moved until the police arrived?
I once got run into the kerb by a bus full of passengers (2 lanes, bus was on the outside and drifted across). I stopped, and the bus just drove off!
I once had a bus remove almost the whole offside of a Ford Orion hire car I was driving. He squashed me sideways up the kerb and dragged me along some pedestrian protection railings! We were both at a roundabout; he was going to turn right, and in the right-hand lane. I was going to go straight on, in the left-hand lane, alongside him. Unfortunately, he set off to the left to get a swing at the roundabout...
I have never seen so much damage at so slow a speed. I had to exit via the sunroof as no doors would open. The bus was quite badly damaged too. Light alloy panelling doesn't stand up too well to a weighty impact like that. He could hardly just carry on regardless, as he was dragging the wrecked carcass of the Ford with him!
I had completely forgotten about that until I read your post!
