K&N air filter - for 1 million miles ?

Just saw this on ebay K&N Air Filter

From K&N's website at K&N they state that "The Last Air Filter Your Engine Will Ever Need - We warranty our replacement filters for 10 years or 1 million miles. Why would we do such a thing? Because they are engineered to last the life of your engine. We use only the highest quality materials and never compromise. Every 50,000 miles, we recommend you clean and re-oil our filter, then put it back in your engine and it will perform virtually like new."

Has anyone experienced these filters?

Yes.

However, there is a school of thought which says that they can also kill your MAS (Mass Airflow Sensor).

So me, not wishing to tempt fate, now keep mine in the Garage, rather than the airbox !

Its for sale if anybody's willing to take the risk !

And it has been proven that K&N filters filter out less than OEM filters thus reducing the life of the engine.....

Kinda important fact they are omitting huh!
