Hi people new to the forum and was wondering if anyone can help with a few issues.
I've recently bought a 2005 c220 estate, which drives perfectly, however sometimes when i go to lock it nothing happens, after 10 mins or so it will decide to lock i've changed the batteries on the fob and the spare won't unlock/lock at all.
Secondly sometimes when indicating there is a beeping from the relays in the boot, why does it do this?
Lastly the cd player decided eat a disc and comes up cd error. which the merc dealer said the whole unit had to be sent off to get looked at.
If anyone has any ideas or remedies please let me know.

I had a similar problem. New batteries didn't help. However, when I changed the batteries I recalled thinking they weren't held very tight by the metal clips. So, took the fob apart again, batteries out, bent the contacts to grip the batteries more tightly, put them back in and fob now works 100% of the time.

May not be the same issue as you have but worth trying maybe?
