Keyless entry - paranoid about theft

I get home and park in my garage, lock the car, double tap the Key Fob, the Fob is then "Locked Out" of interference by any Electronic Devices, don't need any Faraday Boxes or Pouches! Simples!;)

As far as I am aware, when the car is locked and the Key Fob is left at a standstill for over 30 Seconds, the Key Fob is then "Locked Out". :)

No Faraday Box, walk to car, strain myself to push a button on the Key Fob, doors unlock, get in car press Start Button, always remember to open the garage Door, then drive car away!
You do you.

I let my fob go to sleep as well. I tested it out once by leaving the keys on the roof. Less than 30 secs ( I think 5hat was the time span) the doors opened, over 30 secs the doors wouldn’t open.

If I remember right the key “sleeping” when at rest - and double -clicking - is relatively recent. Older keys/cars didn't doit it so best for anyone reading this to double check before assuming their car does it.
