Knocking noise

Hi

I've had the C63 for a couple of weeks now, totally in love with it, however I have noticed a knocking/rattling noise coming from what sounds like the front left of the car.

It only seems to happen a low speeds over bumps and on dodgy road surfaces.

Any ideas?

I'll take it to the dealer for them to have a look, but thought i'd see if anyone had any ideas on here first.

Mileage? Age/year of registration? They might help to inform a diagnosis, you know.

14k miles, 2 years old.

I had a rattled sorted out on mine last weekend, it's on 18k miles. Was to do with hand brake although sounded more mid to rear end to me but was only doing it like yours on ropey surfaces.

Another member mentioned it might have been aftermarket brake pads which weren't a precise fit.
