Reduced from £139 to £69, would make a nice gift at that price, or self indulgence if you prefer

I'm waiting for a reply from them regarding the amount of time you actually get behind the wheel. Someone has written elsewhere that you get about 7 minutes driving and they get about 300 people a day through the venue.

I did a Ferrari a Thruxton recently (birthday present with 'me dad)

I got 3 laps being driven round, then drove 3 in a Cayman, then 3 in the Ferrari and finally a hot lap in an RX8 with a nutter/racing driver at the wheel (brakes and tyres stunk!)

Probably no more than 10 minutes driving but hey, mine cost over £100, so for £69 the change to blat a supercar at 160mph down through Church and Brooklands is not something you get to do everyday
It isn't a lot, but it feels a decent time on the day

Might see if I can get it at this price....

Friend did an AM experience for his birthday, compared it to a Sunday drive as it was so controlled. Then there were all the extra's, £200 CDW to negate the £7k excess, £30 a lap if you want more, photo's, DVD from in car camera all costing more. It soon adds up to a very expensive day if you're not careful.

I've done the full palmer day at bedford autodome. Was an amazing experience and you get a huge amount of time on the track over around 7 cars all driving yourself with an instructor pushing you every step of the way!

Not sure on the cost as it was a corporate day :)

Best deal at the moment £50 Porsche experience at Rockingham with approx 30 minutes driving time, they can't give them away down there, bear in mind the average instructor charges £80 per hour they are probably just breaking even. A Palmer day At Bedford about £600 per person, Ferrari day at Donnington about £180 with 20 minutes driving time. I've been an instructor at all of them in my time. Best value for money without a doubt is with our scottish friends at Knockhill 4 different motorsports, rallying, Saloon car, off road & Skid pan or Karts £180 for a full day with over 2 hours driving.

I'm an instructor for these days and have done loads, you will get about 10 minutes driving which does not sound like a lot but that with some expert tuition and classroom briefing makes it an excellent day. You will probably get a total of about 20 minutes in the car with the instructor driving for half of it showing you the lines, braking points etc..

We have never put 300 people through on one day, depends on number of instructors and cars available but normally 6 instructors with a group of 4 - 6, 3 times per day in summer so max 108 people per day. Twice per day in Winter so 72 people.

Hope you enjoy :D you might even get me
