Hi,
Does anybody know if it is possible to change the number of flashes on the lane change function on the indicator stalk please? It seems that 3 flashes is too few and 4/5 would be more useful, and considerate to other people.

Thanks

I've no idea, possibly a coding thing via STAR?

You could always hold the indicator stalk for a few secs longer :)

I'm not up to speed on newer Mercs but are you telling me they have automated / programmed the indictor?

If so this is IMHO a further step in the continuing over complexity of newer cars & the absurd options race. What's wrong with turning the indicator on & then off when it's no longer needed? Is that hard?

As these cars age you will see more & more of them being scrapped as their values fall & the cost of replacing electronic gizmos stays the same. It'll eventually reach the point where a car with non functioning automatic headlights or wipers or something else seemingly minor is beyond economic repair.

yes, many modern cars do this now. My BMW did and so did the previous shape Mondeo.

A good feature, which I miss. Alas, indicators had only just been thought of when my car was made! (i joke!)

You would be amazed mate, the new MB have brake assist that brake FOR YOU! and the Cruz-control option you can set how far behind the car in front you want to be. If the car in front slows your car will too....

AND they have night vision.....

you'd be amazed :)!!
