Hi there
I have noticed over the last couple of days that there is a slight fluid leak from the underneath of the car when I've parked. It seems to be coming from roughly the middle, slightly towards the front. Once I have returned to the car (hours later) the leaking has stopped and there seems to be no stain on the parking space. This kind of makes me think its either water or I suppose it could be diesel but I would have thought diesel would leave some kind of stain?
Has anyone else experienced this? The car is an 04 plate E class 220 CDI Manual Diesel Saloon Elegance. I have noticed a few posts about fuel leaks on these models and was wondering if there's a way to diagnose for sure before engaging the stealership ;-) Also since the car is under 3 years old should this sort of thing come under the warranty? The car was bought by my parents at an auction a few months back and has FSH. In fact I just got the B service done last week in Falkirk.
Finally just want to say big thanks to all the people who have been so helpful on previous posts I've made!! You've been way more helpful than the manual.
Tony
