Leather Restorer Recommendations

I think you have that about face Will

"Aniline leather is a type of leather dyed exclusively with soluble dyes without covering the surface with a topcoat paint or insoluble pigments. The resulting product retains the hide's natural surface with the 'grain', i.e. visible pores, scars etc. of the complete original animal's skin structure"

The other thing that is relevant is that the BMW leather is Napa leather which is produced by a Chrome Tanning process.

I found something in the garage that reckoned to clean and restore leather in two separate bottles. Can you tell the difference?

The gliptone will dye your leather black thus hiding all the unsightly worn cracks. The leather has to be cleaned thoroughly first - a cheap nail brush is ideal for this job.
I did my CLK's Orion Grey leather which was starting to look a little tired in places. The leather cleaner did a great job of cleaning everything (especially the blue denim dye that was all over both front seats) and the seats looked great when finished - you could however still see cracks that had no colour left in them. I got the gliptone dye and with a small make-up sponge applied it to the troubled area - left it to dry for a few hours - came back and seriously my seats looked amazing.
Its well priced, easy to use and most of all does its job well.

Only that it took you so long you ran out of daylight.
