LED indicator in wing mirror

Hi

I have a 2009 E350 CDI sport with the AMG kit on. A stone has damaged the led indicator in the nearside wing mirror. I have had the mirror cover off as it is undamaged, and the LED just clips out. Mercedes doesn't sell this part separately and I have to buy another mirror cover at £105 +vat just to get the bit I need!!! Does anyone have any idea if I can get this part cheaper elsewhere, and if so where from?

Plus will it fail an MOT if the mirror indicator isn't working but the front and back are???

It won't fail an MOT it is not a legal requirement to have working indicators on mirrors (as far as I know)

If I was you I would snap this up - the good thing is it doesnt matter what wing mirror cover colour you buy - you just need the middle clear insert.

Buy this and take it out of here and put it in yours

Hi thanks for that but its the nearside im looking for so im not sure the led strip will fit.

It probably will fail an mot , as the mot states that if the car is fitted with side repeaters ( mirror indicators ) then they must work.

I'm in a similar dilemma as only one of the three in my passenger mirror works !
