There are some very clever people about!!

Gob-smacked, that is brilliant ..

Clever guy - should be building/designing real cars though :o :D

I've got the Ferrari Enzo version sat in a box waiting to be built. Around 1300 piece apparently!

I'll show that to my son later on who is heavily into LEGO now. it may give him inspiration.

Lego is fantastic stuff. i used to love it when i was a kid and its nice to see my sons now getting an interest in making stuff.

:bannana:

Lego website is the best place for all Lego - most shops tend to have very little stock.

Where do you get these kits? And any idea of price?

These are discontinued now. Couple of sellers on Amazon have them, be warned they are not cheap, going for £450+ on there. Ebay is the best place but still talking about £100+ for used one without box.

I've also got one of the 599 Fioranos. Picked them both up cheap when they were still in production.

I showed that to my uncle, who worked on transmissions for a UK manufacturer for 30 years before doing contract work for Ricardo, who built the actual Veyron box - he was impressed, both with the builder and Lego in general.

If you want to be very, very impressed (or train your child to be a geek) check out some of the mindstorms guys out there - start with the Rubik's solver.

I used to absolutely love Technic Lego and had a large number of sets (as a teenager).

Often looked at sets in awe as an adult but couldn't bring myself to buy one - seems a bit wrong to do them as an adult.

Having seen those though it has got me wanting a set again :)

Of course, if you want to talk Lego, I still have my Lego Driving Licence from the original Legoland in Billund, Denmark nearly 40 years ago! Oh, and I helped build some of the bricks for James Mays' Lego house at Denbies!

Brilliant video.

Got me youtubing how to make a working Lego piano...

Already happened: :D
