Last year I dedicated a lot of time detailing my old girl, very satisfied with the end result View attachment 139846
They're the earlier metal standard covers from factory. I believe around 2010 or thereabouts, AMG switched to plastic valve covers and the front timing covers were left unpainted too.Your valve covers, are they painted standard ones or some other material?

They are original, day 1 from factory. No idea why they switched to plastic though, possibly a cost cutting exercise?Cheers - so did your car come with those or did you replace the new plastic ones for metal ones to eliminate cracking issues?
Very rare, looks like designo paintwork too, Diamond Pearl White?Took my E63 for a drive this evening.

Actually it's a basic white (calcite white) These japanese imports seem to have not the best options (no cooled seats etc).Very rare, looks like designo paintwork too, Diamond Pearl White?
Oh yes they will fit, will need an assortment of rubber washers. Need 8 washers to form seal between the valve cover at the spark plug hole to the head. It's same diameter but slightly thicker for the metal covers. Will also need 2X seals for the front timing cover and valve cover gaskets for each bank.Almost certainly Any idea if those covers can be fitted to an M156 which came with plastic ones?

Spark plug hole rubber washer 8X (MA156 016 21 21) each £6.55
Front timing cover gasket 2X (MA156 016 22 21) each £5.65
Valve cover gasket 1X (MA156 016 24 21/64) £21.40
Valve cover gasket 1X (MA156 016 25 21/64) £21.40
No idea the cost of valve covers or the front timing cover, which houses the magnets though?
