Stunning car! I find a top quality tyre transforms these beasts and gives them a lot more ability. For ride comfort , they're unbeatable

MOT due soon so i've new discs and pads plus some Conti tyres to put on for that, should make a huge difference from the Nangkangs the last owner pout on

First silver arrow edition I have seen and really special to have number 1.

On a slight off topic (as no pics !) I was so lucky this morning to be treated to 4 AMGs on a 7 minute trip to my commuter car park! Normally i use my m3 to commute but wanted to give the 640litre estate a bit of a run after work today so will be taking it for a bit of a drive after work - while still in my drive , my neighbour with his straight pipe c63 6.2 drove past and i ended up being behind him for a good while (that sound is unbeatable). Then at a small mini roundabout, a E63s estate, same colour as mine and prefacelift. That wasn't the best part, best part was within a few seconds , I'm right behind a CL55 convertible! To top it off , gave way to a sparkling E53 coupe so we were 3 convoy... I've never seen any of those cars on my usual short commute (not even my neighbour ) but saw all this morning on quite empty roads (which are normally packed), what a treat !

A CL 55 convertible would be super rare, as I don’t believe there was ever factory version, so it must have been coach built.

Still haven't had time to take proper pics But yes suns out.... Cost me £400 that day! She's booked in with Richard @comandonline for a speaker upgrade and Ghost2 on Tuesday.

Its a long one! short outcome:
On the way to the garden centre i inadvertently caught something in the road thought i had got away with it but no! tyre pressure warning light straight on made the decision to head for somewhere i knew to be tyre shop's but never made it, so Mercedes assist and RAC roadside( the guy that turned up was a legend) later (small split in side wall) 2 front tyres fitted at just under £400. and to add insult to injury SWMBO spent another £50 at said garden centre.
A sad day but enlightening.

10 years ago tomorrow I bought my C36.
At the time registered M87 UCW, soon fitted with VRM C36 AMG.
I sold it last year to scratch the itch of a S204 C63 Wagon. The C63 has now gone back to its previous owner, and I have bought the C36 back too, though back on its original plate.

Collecting it in 2015
