An anyone help me with the best location for my French motorway tag? Recently purchased my E350 Coupe and will be heading across France. On other cars that I have used the tag on I have been able to stick the tag in the dotted area of the windscreen. The 2015 E coupe uses all of this area leaving no free pace to fix the tag. Can I stick the tag just below or to the side of the black area to allow it to work?

Stuck mine in right in the top of the windscreen as close to the plastic trim housing the rain sensors an camera. Worked a treat.

Thanks for prompt response Jay. Will follow your instruction. It's always a bit nervy running up to the barrier at 30kph when the tag has not had an outing for a while. Never failed to work yet makes life so easy especially when travelling on your own wth the ticket booth at the "wrong side" .

I found one or two tolls on route to Monaco from St Tropez wouldn't activate until I came almost to a stop, but this seemed to be the case for all other cars.

Down the mains routes no problem.

If only the M6 Toll had the same payment structure for a tag system.

There are usually only one or two booths even at the larger toll plazas with the 30km roll through facility. Agree its a bit unnerving until you get used to them working only at the last moment.

The car's handbook should tell you where to put the tag.

On mine it's behind the mirror or a particular (very small) spot on the windscreen. Placement is critical if you have an athermic screen (like mine).
