if you live around Harwich and have a dirty car then I highly recommend the bunch of guys at the Harwich car wash place. its located on the roundabout just off the big Morrisons there. (Parkiston Roundabout?)

i was there the other day and they wash, dry, polish, clean wheels, apply "wet look" tyre stuff, glass clean all glass INSIDE and OUT, clean inside of door shuts, and give you a rearview mirror airfreshener all for....

not sure.

its probably not the place to go if you keep your car in concours condition! however it get it clean quickly with no effort its good and a great price! they were polish and worked really well and did a good job even though it was only for £6

they did use "proper" sponges though!

Probably a good idea for me. Spent this morning (day off work) with buckets of water, autoglym shampoo, turtle wax, microfibre cloth bring mine back to the colour it was when it left the factory. Good exercise mind you but for £6 its 10% of the cost of doing 90odd MPH on the motorway.

Koolvin, I use the same cloths to clean the wheels as I did the body work. Came up clean enough for me....

i dont usually use these guys (i prefer to wash the car myself to get at all the correct places etc) and do it myself. however after the 500 journey the car wasnt very clean and i needed it to be shiney that morning so was ideal.

i was just very impressed by the "extra" work they put into it over the usual places that do this type of thing. i couldnt believe it when he then handed me an air freshener at the end!! it even smelt nice!

its a miracle *** washes his car at all.... we shouldnt worry how many sponges were used - its better than 0
