E320 cdi
I have a 2007 E320 Cdi 3.0 V6 Estate.

It seems my glow plug control unit has failed.
can anyone tell me where I will find this unit please. I want to check its part number So I can source a replacement.

Thanks very much indeed
Kev

At the front of the engine , slightly to the left .

Recommended changing all 6 plugs first .

I am sure it is toward the front of the left cylinder bank (with you standing in front of the car) attached to a bracket.

To be sure just trace back from one of the glow plug connections.

Thanks for your replies.
I had all six plugs changed, and changed the brake light switch in the hope it would cure the intermittent glow plug light and SRS message, but both problems still remain !!

Not sure that brake switch has any connection to the operation of the SRS system?

Seemed odd to me, but more than one person told me a new brake light switch might cure my problem so for £20 I thought it was worth a punt.

There would of been a fault code for it initially if it failed

How old is the car battery ? Date stamp on the terminal .
Low voltage can throw up MB faults
