Hi guys
Just been away for 10 days and the battery on my CL55 k has gone flat! My manual key is not opening the door, any ideas on how to get in or access the battery to charge it
Cheers

One way I did it on couple of times, jack up car then connect live battery source to starter terminal, connect earth to body, power will allow central locking to work, even managed it using a motorbike battery once , I now keep a portable power pack/starter on permanent charge in garage.Tony

Might be worth getting an Accumate charger or similar to leave on charge when not being used. It's what I do for the Range Rover which goes flat within about three weeks otherwise.

Brick through the window is what i did on my old bora .

It might bounce off...:D

I once had to break in through the window of a W114 in Lydd, the old gentleman who owned it was a retired mechanic and had a couple of old scrappers. This one had a bench front seat, column-shift, and the Becker FM Stereo radio which he was selling to me. But he couldn't find the keys. Tried a claw-hammer, couldn't even chip the windows!! Turned out it was an ex-embassy car... It's really, really surreal hitting a glass pane and just getting a kind of spade-into-wet-mud "thud".

You broke in and took the radio?!
I've come across your sort before.

Morning guys
I've left the cl55k again for two months while away and locked out again, nothing seems to be getting me in to this time. Manual key doesn't work on the door or boot.
Many thanks
Gary
