bit of a problem
The C Class 220 I just purchased has the locking wheel bolt key in its box but without its protruding section. I just found it stuck into one of the locking studs. So I guess someone used an impact wrench on it. Lucky I have the key code but they are expensive and I am not going to be able to use it on that one bolt. And will still have to buy another set to be complete.
If anyone has a 313 key they want to part with I could be interested.
There is little room to work on that bolt or even get a removing tool in.
Unless anyone has a better idea I think I shall drill it out or drill the head off.?
Thanks Ken

The stuck bit will come out with a little help of neodymium magnet - been there, done that - I had tyre place over-tighten my wheels which caused the locking key to shear, when attempting to remove ...

New key is just under £35 from MB, by the way.
In retrospect, I would probably go for a new set of 20 bolts, without the locking four, but I needed the new key to remove them anyway ...
