London Motor Museum

Funnily enough, I have free tickets for it - just waiting for SWMBO to come back and we're off down there! :)

Judging from the "Celebrities" section on the website, it seems to be a hangout for premiership footballers, rap guys and Tim Westwood  so I doubt it's full of the type of cars I'd be interested in.. bling ain't my thing.

Cheers,

Gaz

Looking at the website , it sounds dreadful !

Other than rarities like the '1972 DeLorean' ( production started arou d 10 years later ) , there is not much worth seeing .

if you're in London, just take a trip down to Beaulieu near the coast.

Must admit looking at their website I'd take a ride to Beaulieu or even further is the Haynes Motor Museum both look a lot better value for your money

+1

They both have a few exotics and it's nice to get out of London for the day. You can spot the ex Top Gear wrecked cars out the back of the main building at Beaulieu. They had the double decker w124's, Clarkson's alpha romeo Polizia and a few of the stretched limos the boys made when I was there last year. I went to Haynes in March and the 'red room' was quite impressive. There isn't as much space to give every car a 360, but I felt it was worth the trip.

Whilst there, a gaggle of what looked like the cream of the local young offenders institute on day release were jumping into the drivers seats of as many cars as they could, bragging about how many each had been in. It got my blood up.... I would have said something but there were more of them... Even their 'minder' was little more than there for the ride.
