I have a 2.0 litre 190E which has an intermittent problem with the engine loosing power. It seems to occur when there is no load on the engine, when I lift off the throttle. When I try to accelerate again, the engine misfire. If I take it out of gear, the engine seems to rev and tick over ok in neutral, put will not pull in drive. If I switch off the ignition and restart all is fine. The problem my recur a few minutes later, or it might be fine for a few days.

I have been told it could be either a fuel pump or fuel pump relay. Where is the fuel pump relay located? does anyone have any suggestions to what else could cause this?
