hi all, picked up a 2001 clk 320 last week and boy does it need some tidying up. first question is the ice control on the steering wheel doesn't work niether does the tv nor the sat nav (i know i need a disc for the sat nav) the comand unit stays on when the key is removed and powers down after an hour (even whilst still driving) is this an easy fix?

It is a Saturday, the weather is good and you left less than 4 hours before posting a sarcastic response.
Is this how you propose to behave on here in future if you do not get the response you want when you want?
The steering wheel controls can fail, the TV tuner is analogue, have these signals been turned off in your area? You cannot test the sat nav properly without a disc as you stated.
I would suggest finding a good MB specialist who has STAR and get a short circuit test run, it will generate a lot of fault codes but these can be deleted and then the test run again to hopefully narrow down the issues.
