me again,

thought you guys would like to know, I own a Mercedes A160 Elegance, it is officially the loudest MB in Europe. We have taken three UK titles at 148.8Db, 155.2Dd and 156 Db.

It has five Optima yellow top batteries, split charge system, two fusion 15" sub-woofer, two jonah lumo amps from fusion, gold wiring......too much to list.

Anyway if any of you are interested in this kind of thing or even just normal car audio etc, mail me and i will be happy to answer a questions you may have.

the loudest MB in europe? YIKES!!!!! I think you'll find most of the enthusiasts in this forum are past LOUD systems, I think we like quality crisp sounding systems..

/me runs for my life.

this is my install - I never had a ski hole so I made my own <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>:D:D

I can beleive that, I must admit... it is not my thing!

do you mean geoff firestarter with the beetle and the vw camper...... If yes we started competing with Geoff, he was extreamly helpful with designs.

A friend of mine has just spent a bloody fortune kitting his 2002 Astra 2.2 convertable out with all that Rockford Fostgate have to offer, and i have to say it does sound the muts nuts. Curse me for saying this, but the remote roof on the astra is an impressive sight i have to say. Althought i give the battery in the key fob a life span of about 2 weeks, as you have to hold your finger on the button for the whole roof cycle...which takes about 2 mins or so.

Whereas the SL takes 12 seconds?? and the astra takes 2 minutes!!!!

Crappy cars... <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
